Bank Austria Creditanstalt AG, Erste Bank der Oesterreichischen Sparkassen AG and Raiffeisen Zentralbank Oesterreich AG, Austria’s three biggest lenders, have also expressed interest along with OTP Rt., Hungary’s biggest bank. ”Rabobank too is among banks that expressed interest even ahead of the bidding process, which is to start by the end of April”, CEC chairman Enache Jiru, said. ”The best price offered for at least 51 percent of CEC will prevail in the sale”, he added.
