The main shareholder of the bank is Piraeus Bank Greece, having a 99.99% share in the nominal capital, the rest being owned by seven Romanian individuals.
The Greece bank entered the Romanian market in April 2000 by taking over the main share package of the Credit Prater Bank.
The value of the transaction was not made public. At the end of 2004 the bank’s assets totaled 234.6 million euros.
