Staff from Central Banks and supervisory agencies from twenty one countries in Central and Eastern Europe and some other EU member countries, as well as a number of international organizations, including the Bank for International Settlements, The Committee of European Banking Supervisors, and the European Central Bank, participated in the conference.
Discussions focused on issues arising from rapid credit growth observed by countries in the region and participants shared information about country experiences. It is intended that the proceedings of the conference will be published in due course.
