The main reason for the move to Bucharest was the ever closer economic ties between Romania and Austria.
The focus of the activities of the Bucharest representative office, along with looking after the interests of Austrian companies there, will be on maintaining contacts with customers in Romania for long-term corporate lending, corporate finance and real estate financing.
The Bucharest Representative Office will be managed by Claudius Ferentz, an economist with many years of banking and financing experience. Before joining Investkredit Bank AG, he worked as Senior Project Manager – especially for the commercial real estate segment in Central and Eastern Europe – at an international banking group.
With Romanian and German as his mother tongues as well as international banking experience, Claudius Ferentz was predestined to look after multinational companies as well as local investors in Romania.
