After filling in the application, the applicant will be contacted by a BRD tele-adviser, to confirm the data submitted online, and after the card is issued the owner will be invited to the bank to sign the release application and pick up the respective card.
BRD is the first bank in Romania to offer customers the possibility to submit online applications for card release, through its web site, www.brd.ro, starting this summer. In a first stage, customers were able to apply online for Maestro, Visa Electron or “Card 10” – addressing students. BRD – Groupe Societe Generale has issued over 920,000 cards, having a network of close to 400 ATMs in Romania and is market leader in terms of acceptance rate, with over 2,900 POS installed in retail units.
