BCR was authorised by the Supervisory Commission of the Romanian Private Pensions System (CSSPP) as an intermediary for selling compulsory private pensions (Pillar II).
Consequently, BCR is entitled to offer to its customers the option to adhere to BCR Fond de Pensii Administrate Privat through its whole branch network.
Martin Skopek, BCR’s Vicepresident Retail, considers that the Pensions Fund scheme is very well fitted in the bank’s policy to build up a long term partnership with its customers.
“We are here to establish and maintain a long term relationship with our customers. And our Pensions Fund scheme is the proper instrument to serve that purpose. We aimed to provide our customers with a valuable service, available on long term, offered by the strongest Romanian financial group”, stated Mr. Martin Skopek, BCR’s Vice President Retail.
“We address in fact, to all the eligible private individuals, including those between 35 and 45 years old, who have the opportunity to choose a pensions fund managed in a professional manner”, Skopek added.
BCR’s branches will service both the individuals of 18 till 35 years old and those with the age between 35 and 45 years, for whom the Pillar II adherence is optional.
BCR Fond de Pensii Administrat Privat is managed by BCR Administrare Fond de Pensii S.A., a company within the BCR Group, important member of Erste Holding. The company has a share capital amounting to RON 50,000,000 and it was established in June 2007.
