In connection with the implementation of Erste Bank’s new holding company structure, Johannes Kin-sky will join the management board of Erste Bank Group, said the bank in a statement.

With effect from July 2007, he will be re-sponsible for the newly created “Group Corporate Finance and Investment Banking” division. His ap-pointment is subject to a change in Erste Bank’s statutes which has to be approved by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on 31 May 2007.

Johannes Kinsky (42) was previously Head of Central European operations at the investment bank JP Morgan and was involved in most of the major acquisitions during Erste Bank’s CEE expansion over recent years. Kinsky has a 12 year track record in Investment Banking and Corporate Finance. Before joining JP Morgan he held various management positions at Deutsche Bank.
